The Tapola Educational Tour was conceived as a research-integrated academic initiative under the Data Driven Design + Fab Lab Studio. Students were taken to Tapola, a rural region with a strong dependency on agriculture, water bodies, and land-based livelihoods. During the visit, students conducted on-ground ethnographic research, interacted directly with villagers, farmers, boatmen, vendors, and households, and documented ecological, occupational, and infrastructural challenges related to land use, waste, farming, energy, and daily living.
