The B.A. LL.B. (Honours) is a full-time, five-year integrated degree of ten semesters and 210 credits, offered by the School of Legal Studies at D. Y. Patil International University. It combines rigorous legal training with a grounding in the social sciences (history, political science and economics), so that graduates understand law in its historical, political and economic context.
The first two years pair foundational law papers with the non-law subjects, English and a foreign language (French, German or Spanish). From the third year, the curriculum moves into advanced core law, electives, practical training and an Honours specialization. It closes with a moot court and internship paper and a research dissertation.

Each course carries 100 marks, split equally between internal assessment and the university examination. Internal assessment includes a faculty-evaluated component, a mid-semester examination and attendance. Practical papers use written submissions and a viva voce.
