The Halloween 2025 Celebration commenced with a welcome note by the School of Design team, setting an energetic and festive mood. The event featured a range of creative segments including costume design competitions, themed décor displays, live performances, and a “Spooky Walk” parade. The presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) Manish Bhalla and Registrar Mr. Beeran Moideen elevated the event’s spirit. Dr. Bhalla appreciated the creative efforts of the students and highlighted how such celebrations encourage design thinking and collaborative spirit. Faculty and student coordinators organized fun movie Dumb Charades, music, performances, concluding the evening with a “Best Costume” award ceremony and refreshments. The event successfully merged design innovation with cultural celebration, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of the DYPIU community.
