The School of Design, D Y Patil International University, organized a 6-hour offline workshop titled “From Concept to Creation – Hands-on Prototyping and Model Making” on 24 March 2026. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sunil K. Deore, renowned sculptor and Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Awardee. A total of 134 participants attended the workshop. The session focused on transforming design concepts into physical prototypes through hands-on model-making activities. Participants gained practical experience in using basic tools and materials, explored design principles related to form development and product visualization, and enhanced their creative thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills through experiential learning.
