1-Day Workshop on Responsible Design: Designing for Children
The workshop focused on the concept of responsible design and its role in building a sustainable future, especially for children. The resource person discussed global environmental challenges and the need for designers to create solutions that promote awareness, behavioural change, and sustainability. Students were introduced to the importance of conserving natural resources such as soil and water, and the role of education in shaping environmentally conscious societies. The session also explored how understanding child psychology can help in designing meaningful experiences that encourage children to adopt sustainable habits. The workshop inspired students to think ethically and design with long-term societal impact in mind.
