The Workshop on NGS Data Analysis was a two-day intensive hands-on training program designed to provide participants with practical exposure to Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis workflows. The workshop focuses on building strong foundational knowledge along with applied computational skills required for modern genomic research. Participants were introduced to the complete NGS analysis pipeline, starting from raw sequencing data quality assessment and read trimming, followed by genome alignment and variant calling strategies. The program also covers RNA-Sequence data analysis for gene expression profiling and functional annotation using widely adopted bioinformatics tools.
