The CodeDecode Club, School of Computer Science Engineering and Applications (SoCSEA), D Y Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune, successfully organized OFFGRID 1.0 – An Innovation-Driven Hackathon to encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among students. OFFGRID 1.0 provided a platform for young innovators, developers, and technology enthusiasts to showcase their technical expertise by developing impactful solutions through hardware and software innovations. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation with 154 registrations, from which 40 finalist teams competed in the final rounds. The event journey included multiple stages such as idea submission, online evaluation, final project presentations, mentoring sessions, and evaluation by experts. Participants presented innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges while demonstrating their programming, technical, and teamwork abilities. The event supported the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): • SDG 4: Quality Education • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure The event included various activities such as registration, inauguration, project evaluation, team mentoring sessions, final presentations, winner recognition, and networking opportunities.
