D. Y. Patil International University (DYPIU), Akurdi, conferred the prestigious Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) upon eminent industrialist Dr. Pramod Chaudhari, Founder Chairman and Mentor of Praj Industries, at a Special Convocation Ceremony. Recognised for his outstanding contributions to innovation, sustainable development, and leadership in bioenergy and agri-processing, Dr. Chaudhari continues to be a guiding force in industry and academia. In his address, he emphasized the importance of fostering entrepreneurship in India, sharing insights from his early journey of introducing the concept of venture capital in the 1980s. He also highlighted the need to implement the National Education Policy 2020 effectively, encouraging education systems to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and innovation.
