DYPIU is organizing a Mobile Photography Competition along with Film and Photography Club under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative of the Government of India.

Main aim of organizing this competition is to provide a platform to budding photographers to showcase their talent, appreciate and to motivate them.

DYPIU'n individual interested in photography from any school can register.

• This competition is exclusively for students in DYPIU.
• A participant may submit only up to minimum 1 entry and maximum 2 entries.
• Photographs must be of high resolution
• Photographs should be submitted in JPG/PNG format
• Size of the Photographs should not exceed 10MB
• A short caption of 2-3 lines maximum should also be written about each photograph mentioning the idea/concept behind the clicked photograph.
• The entry needs to be filled up in Participation google form while submitting the entry.
• The aspect ratio of the photographs can be horizontal or vertical.
• The photographs should be strictly clicked by the mobile phone only.
• Photographs clicked from cameras (DSLR, SLR, etc.) will not be considered.
• All entries must be submitted on the google form itself.
• Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode would not be considered for evaluation
• 3 top winners & 3 consolation prize winners will be chosen and recognized at the DYPIU level for price distribution.

India is a entering its 75th year of Independence. While, leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose inspired fellow Indians to join the freedom movement, media had its own role to play as well. Movies, magazines, plays and music had a huge role in infusing the sense of patriotism in people's mind since time immemorial. Even after independence, bollywood film industry stuck to the idea of patriotism and made films about the freedom movement or cross-country wars to reinstate the idea of a 'proud nation'.

Today's films live in the glory of those victories. Lateral patriotism has taken over the true blue feeling of nationalism.The society has changed and with that interpretation of patriotism has also shifted- much like our films.

The film industry has always played a key role in defining and designing the feeling of nationality in people's mind and it continues to do so. The meaning of nationality keeps on changing but the idea of the nation remains same.

Keeping this philosophy in mind, we are focusing on adaptation and impact of the Indian cinema in the citizens and the Eras which brought in a change to adapt to the patriotism differently with changing times.

Films and movies based on patriotism and also the movies with slight patriotic references in songs or segments will be considered in this fashion show. The depiction of that particular character or fashion sense would also be done by the cinematic reference and music in the background.

1. Please ensure your presence from 11th-15th August. You can only participate if you're available on-campus throughout these dates.

2. Please select a movie from the list and prepare your outfits based on your selection.

3. Auditions will be held on campus offline on the 5th & 6th of August. Please arrive prepared. Even ideation could be showcased at the time of the audition without the costume.

4. All your outfits and supporting props will be managed by yourself.

The participant will be judged on the film outfit accuracy, supporting background visuals and enactment of the character through walk.

• Every team will consists of min. 4 and max. 6 memebers
• Each team will choose any Indian state of their choice and represent their respective cuisine.
• The students have to bring the dishes prepared by themselves at home.
• The students will brief the judges about their respective cuisine, recipe, nutritional value and general aspects.
• The students should come in appropriate attire that aligns with their cuisine.
• The Winner will be declared on the basis of:

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

• THERE WILL BE 2 ROUNDS, SELECTION ROUND AND FINAL ROUND.
• SELECTION ROUND WILL BE HELD ON 8TH AUGUST
• FINAL ROUND WILL BE HELD ON 13TH AUGUST
• VENUE AND TIMING OF BOTH EVENTS WILL BE UPDATED.
• EACH GAME WILL BE OF 60 MINS.
• TOP 3 WINNERS WILL CHOSEN AFTER FINALS.
• FORMS WILL BE CLOSED ON 6TH AUGUST AT 7PM.

• PARTICIPATION: INDIVIDUAL/GROUP.
• MAX LIMIT FOR NO. OF TEAMMATES WILL BE 4.
• EVENT WILL BE HELD ON 13TH AUGUST AND BEGIN ON 9:30 TO 11:30(2HRS)
• PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TOP 3 TEAMS SOLVING THE QUIZ IN SHORTEST TIME.
• REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED ON 7TH AUGUST AT 7PM. (No last-minute entries will be entertained)
• IF FOUND COLLABORATING WITH NON-PARTICIPANTS OR DOING ANY OTHER MALPRACTICES TEAMS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

• Team should keep the time limit in mind. Exceeding the time limit will lead to minus points.
• A warning bell will be rung after 10 mins.
• Usage of props are allowed. Teams will be bringing their own props. University is not going to provide any kind of assistance with the prop. Team can use posters and banners.
• Teams are allowed to use musical instruments of their choice. No technical support will be provided.
• All contestants should have attire of their choice and get their own accessories. (For both boys and girls).
• Teams are requested to confirm the validity of props with the management team of the event before bringing them.
• Judges' collective decision would be final and binding.

• Three winners will be declared from each category.
• A submission link will be provided to the students (on mail) who have registered where they would have to submit their poems.
• The students won't be shortlisted until they submit their poem.
• The submitted poems will be verified once by the incharge committee.

➣ 12 Aug (morning) - Final performance.

• Themed Performances.
• Solos will be performed first and then the groups later (detailed further).
• Students are allowed to participate in multiple formats for different themes but not twice in the same theme.
• Each performance should be between 2 to 6 minutes.

1. Participants must be the student/s of DYPIU currently enrolled in any program with the University.

2. Participants must carry their own instruments, karaoke tracks and/or costumes.

3. Song selection shall adhere to the said categories/themes only.

4. Decisions made by the judging panel will be final.

5. Performances must fall under the given time limits.

6. SONGS SHOULD BE STRICTLY IN ONE OF THE OFFICIAL INDIAN LANGUAGES.

7. Participants are expected to be human.

8. Lip syncing is not allowed.

9. Crowd interaction during the event will lead to immediate disqualification.

10. Students are allowed to participate in multiple formats for different themes but not twice in the same theme.
