Admissions Eligibility

Course Qualifying Examination Note Selection criteria:
Engineering and Technology(UG) (CSE, Bio-Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Semiconductor) Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Passed Diploma/ D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector
(DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme) Students with good scores in MH-CET, JEE, PERA CET, CUET, or any other equivalent competitive exams, DYPIU Entrance Test and/or Personal Interaction
Lateral Entry to direct second year program (Only in Mechanical Engineering) (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and technology from an All India Council for
Technical Education oi Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
or
(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants. commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% incase of candidates of Backward Class Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject;
or
(ii) Passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector 
   
Bachelors in Computer Application Qualifying Examination:
Passed (10+2) from any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board with
minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade
OR
A pass in diploma in Commercial Practice or equivalent
(DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme) Students with good scores in MH-CET, JEE, PERA CET, CUET, or any other equivalent competitive exams, DYPIU Entrance Test and/or Personal Interaction
Bachelors in Business Administration Passed (10+2) from any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade. (DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Accountancy, Economics etc for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme) Students with good scores in MH-CET, JEE, PERA CET, CUET, or any other equivalent competitive exams, DYPIU Entrance Test and/or Personal Interaction
Bachelors in Design Passed (10+2) from any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.
OR
Passed Diploma/D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
  Students with good scores of any of valid NID-DAT, UCEED and any other equivalent competitive examination are eligible to apply, Personal Interview conducted by School of Design Faculty at DYPIU. The Candidate must present their Portfolio of Design works.
Bachelors in Fine Arts Passed (10+2) from any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.
OR
Passed Diploma/D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector
  Students with scores of any of valid MAH AAC CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test) and any other equivalent competitive examination Personal Interview conducted by School of Design Faculty at DYPIU. The Candidate must present their Portfolio of Art works.
Bachelors in Arts- Journalism and Mass Communication Passed (10+2) from any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.   Personal Interaction conducted by DYPIU
Masters in Computer Applications Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ BCA/ BBA CA etc,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category as per Maharashtra state government rules) in the qualifying examination. (DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme) Students with good scores in MH-CET, PERA CET, CUET, or any other equivalent competitive exams, DYPIU Entrance Test and/or Personal Interaction
M.Sc - Medical Biotechnology Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category as per Maharashtra state government rules)) in the qualifying examination.
(DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer courses etc for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme) Students with good scores in MH-CET, PERA CET, CUET, or any other equivalent competitive exams, DYPIU Entrance Test and/or Personal Interaction
MBA – Masters in Business Administration Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration.
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category as per Maharashtra state government rules)) in the qualifying examination.
