Eligibility for faculty: NET /SLET/SET is required where it is conducted. For Associate Professor and Professor Ph.D. is mandatory. For details see UGC regulations 2010 on minimum qualifications for various courses.
Qualification and Experience: As per Guidelines of UGC Director/Professor:
  • Master’s degree in relevant subject with more than 55% marks, Ph.D. degree in relevant subject
  • Minimum 10 years of Teaching / Research /Industry experience at a senior position excluding the period of doing Ph.D
  • Active researcher with more than 10 research publications /books
  • Experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level
  • Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, technology mediated teaching learning processes
  • Minimum API score based on PBAS as described in the UGC regulation 2010

OR • An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.


Associate Professor:
  • Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline
  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and or research at the Assistant Professor
  • Minimum 5 publications as books /research papers
  • Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula, courses and technology mediated teaching learning process
  • Minimum score as stipulated in API as described in the UGC regulation of 2010
  • OR
  • An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in concerned/ allied/relevant discipline
Assistant Professor:
  • Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET
  • OR
  • Who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
  • NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
  • OR
  • Ph.D degree from a university/institution with a ranking in top 500 in the World University ranking (at any time) by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Times Higher Education (THE) and Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
  • OR
  • Professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contribution to knowledge in concerned/ allied/relevant discipline
Registrar:
  • Master degree with minimum 55% of marks.
  • 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor/ 8 years of experience as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
  • OR
  • 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent
  • OR
  • Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
Deputy Registrar:
  • Master degree with minimum 55% of marks
  • 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor along with experience in educational administration
  • OR
  • 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent
  • OR
  • Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
Assistant Registrar:
  • A Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
  • At least three years of relevant administrative experience in an office in Academics/ Examinations/ Finance & Accounts/ Procurement/ Human Resources Management in one or more of the following: (a) Central or State Universities or Research Institutions; (b) Central or State Government Departments and Agencies; (c) Autonomous Bodies under the Central or State Government; (d) Port Trusts; (e) Public Sector Undertakings; (f) Public Sector Banks or Financial Institutions; (g) Public Limited Companies
  • Desirable: Good knowledge of Information and Communication Technology.

Finance and Accounts Officer:
  • Master degree (MCom, MBA)/ CA
  • Adequate experience of Finance Management, Financial Forecasting, Accounting and Auditing Process
  • OR
  • Comparable experience of equivalent position in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
HR and Alumni Coordinator:
  • Master degree (MBA-HR)
  • OR
  • Comparable experience in other institutions of higher education
  • Would look after Human Resource related matter
  • Alumni Coordinator would devise and implement complete alumni -program and would be accountable for every alumni event including supervising alumni and student volunteers. S/He would also help manage local events, reunions and fund raising and would contribute to regular communication in form of periodicals/email etc to keep alumni up to date
R &D Coordinator:
  • Master degree (Technology Management) or Equivalent
  • OR
  • Comparable experience of equivalent position in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
  • Familiarity with writing of research proposals/paper publication etc.
  • Knowledge of IPR, Patent filing, etc.
Librarian:
  • A Master’s Degree in Library Science /Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
  • At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian.
  • Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
  • Desirable: A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science / documentation/achieves and manuscript-keeping.
Deputy Librarian:
  • A Master’s Degree in library science/information science/documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
  • Five years’ experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
  • Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
  • Desirable: A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/Information science / Documentation/Archives and manuscript-keeping/computerization of library.
Assistant Librarian:
  • A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
  • Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
